Stop Light

Hello,

 

I wondered if anyone could possibly help me distinguish exactly which light is my "stop light". I've got the warning of 'check stop lights' on my dash and only owned the car since January so it's a new problem for me.

 

I urgently need to get a new light tomorrow before I go away for work for the weekend and unfortunately have nobody here to help me look at which light is out as my housemate works away too...(I know poor me).

Reverse car into a wall / garage door situation Please <<please not literally,>>  leave about a five - six foot gap.

Press on brake - light, will show up for you.

 

Also a good way to check side and indicator lights - just park car at an angle - if checking the side side lights.

 

Only thing it won't pick up on, is a failed LED in a light bar arrangement.

 

Easy peasy ....

Engine off, ignition on, heavy block of something like a brick on the brake pedal.

Now you can see which one is not lit.

...much safer.
