Revving But Not Accelerating

Hi my GV 57 plate has just had an issue whereby I'm increasing the revs but the car is not increasing speed at the same rate. Just started happening. Any advice on where to start looking please as I'm not able to afford an expensive repair at the moment. Hoping its something simple.

hopefully we can get you sorted here, but first we need more info. Is it automatic or manual? And does it happen in all gears or only at certain speeds, certain gears? How many total miles on the clock?

 

And finally, have you had any fluid changes, services or anything recently that might point to when this started happening?
