Possible Transmission Issue...?

Question

Newbie Hi to All!

My 63 plate auto 2.8 grand voyager has an issue when coming off a dual carriageway or motorway when slowing to a halt. The car wants to carry on whilst I'm braking to a stop with clattering type sounds and vibrations coming from the front. Mileage is 32k. This happens about once every day to two days depending on whether I drive on faster, major roads. Only bought the car in January. Use the car daily for work. Had engine oil and filter changed without any difference. Also, there seems to be a slight whooshing sound coming from the engine area when accelerating. Wondering whether linked to first issue. Any suggestions/help/advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have the same problem now on my slightly older 08 plate 2.8 .176k,

After driving motorways or dual carrig.ways  its hard to stop to halt every now and then i have to put in neutral to come to halt otherwise it just wants to pull forwards so badly that normal braking dosent apply needs to be braked very hard,im just trying to figure out-believe its something to do with tranny oil.

I've gave a few attempts but was unable to locate fill cap its a 62te a/t.

Never had such a problem with voyager, but would start of changing Gearbox oil and filter.

There is no cap  and the pan need to be unbolted and drained oil that way, new filter comes with new seal, I uses full 5l Mopar Oil for this box.

Keep us up to date with this issue.
