Front Brake Callipers

Question

Hi.

My 2009 grand voyagers brake Calipers have ceased. Fortunately the vehicle is under warranty, I have replaced the disks and pads and then contacted the warranty company to arrange repair of the calipers. The work has been completed but now they are refusing to pay as they are saying that the calipers are a design fault and Chrysler have now replaced them. Can anyone give me any legal advice as to how to fight this.

Well unless there was a safety recall on all the vehicles fitted with those calipers I would think the warranty company could be on a loser there.

In who's opinion were they a design fault? manufacturers change / update things constantly.

And then again, it could be suggested they are more maintenance / wear and tear than a failure on an 8 year old car?
