Hello there, I have just purchased my 2nd Voyager having first purchased a wreck to do up in 2015. I have only seen this post today so apologies if my reply is no use or too late. My 1st Voyager was a 2001 Grand 2.5 CRD. This had rust quite badly on the sills. From what I have seen this is quite a common problem. Obviously cutting out and welding in a new piece is best if it's bad. If caught in time I would clean up and treat with a rust treatment such as KRust and paint over with a sealant.

Both my 1st and 2nd Voyagers both 2.5 CRD Grand also have had advisories for corrosion on the brake hoses. If only slight, clean, treat and grease is my recommendation.

Anyway hope all went well.

Regards

Scott
