Climate Control

Question

Afternoon all.

I have a query regarding the climate control on my 2007 300C.

When in automatic mode, im lead to believe that if you press the aircon button, the light flashes three times, and the system is then running in ECON mode, whereby it will still adjust the temp automatically, yet it wont use the A/C.

Is the right?

Thanks in advance

As far as I'm aware if you have the knob in the auto position the climate control automatically adjusts the air temperature in accordance with the temp dials. The aircon switch flashes when pressed to indicate that it isn't necessary to select the aircon as the system does it automatically. You do have to manually select air recirculation to "on" though if you want to fully benefit from the aircon.
