Was wondering if it is worth getting one and if they are any good. SteveWow how did you manage that. I have a 2001 2.5crd and i have Torque Pro (paid version of whats touted as the best of the android obd apps), i have OBD car doctor and Carista. None of them will read the codes or diagnose my GV. However i have had limited success with OBD car doctor which has always managed to switch of EML light but thats it. 0 QinteQ Posted November 27, 2015 Report Share Posted November 27, 2015 Most cars here are 2005+, the Voyagers went CAN from a manufacture date of May 2004, so if your car is a 2005 registration you will need a CAN capable code reader to see anything useful. Older Chrysler used the CCD-BUS [or PCi-BUS] up to 05/04. So be careful what you waste your money on, learn and understand the difference between a reader and a scanner and the usefulness of P B C & U codes each of which have a binary 0 & 1 derivative to differentiate twixt the '0' for Generic and the '1' for Enhanced / manufacturer specific which can not be read with the types of scanner being discussed here.
